When in vivo imaging is integral to your protocol, the MRI Chair is ready for anything!
Manufactured exclusively from MRI-compatible, non-metallic, materials, the Crist MRI Chairs are designed for use with fully-conscious primates. The head holding and positioning apparatus, which are mounted to the chair body, are also MRI-compatible.

Choose the orientation you need.

  • Available in both horizontal and vertical configurations. Customization is available, for either configuration, to meet specific needs.
  • The tubular design chairs have outside diameters of 6 inches (15 1/4cm), 10 ½ inches (26 Âľ cm), 11 ½ inches (29.2cm), and 12 inches (30 1/2cm). Other dimensions are available upon request.
  • The Square design for horizontal or vertical use chair dimensions are 11.5“ (29.2cm) wide X 12” (30.5cm.) top to bottom. Other dimensions available on request.

MRI SIPPER TUBE – The new MRI Sipper Tube delivers liquid reward to primates while in, or around, MRI equipment so your protocol continues without interruption.*
MRI Touch Panel – The MRI Touch Panel permits use of a touch screen panel in, or around, MRI equipment. Available with either a “Squeeze Device” or a “Light Pipe” that works in the infra-red range.*
MRI-compatible Cranial Fasteners – Our fasteners have a variety of application and solve a number of challenges. Made from CILUX plastic, they are both durable and well tolerated for short or long-term studies.*
