THIS IS AN UNSCENTED PRODUCT. WE MAKE IT PURSUANT TO THE FDA TEMPORARY REGULATIONS FOR HAND SANITIZER. IS SMELLS LIKE ETHYL ALCOHOL WHICH IS THE BASE.
The hand sanitizer is produced in accordance with WHO Guidelines and FDA Guidance.

The base hand sanitizer is compounded using the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendation of:

a. Alcohol (ethanol) (80%, volume/volume (v/v);

b. Glycerol (1.45% v/v);

c. Hydrogen peroxide (0.125% v/v);

d. Sterile distilled water or boiled cold water.

It is then denatured with Denatonium Benzoate in accordance with the new guidance. We use the preferred formula for denatured alcohol set forth at 27 CFR 21.76 Formula No. 40-B (to every 100 gallons of alcohol add one-sixteenth avoirdupois ounce of Denatonium Benzoate, 18 N.F.)
The antiseptic/hand sanitizer is a liquid and not a gel, as required by the formula.
