“We have an over active animal that keeps wearing out the positioner what can be done to solve this.”

Crist Instrument:

We can make a sleeve for the cylinder style head holders and a clamp for the post style head holders that will give the positioner much greater strength. This will help to reduce the stress on the screws and prevent the post from weakening.

Hi Pat,

6-FHC-S2A-LOC

just wanted to let you know that we tried out the part yesterday on our “problem” animal and it works great so far and seems to really help with stability. Thanks for building it and getting it to us so promptly.

Stimulating brain cells with light reveals the dysfunctional circuitry that causes obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The abnormal brain activity seen in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a likely cause of the condition, according to two papers published today (June 6) in Science. Both studies used optogenetic techniques, which allow specific brain cells to be turned on and off at the flick of a light switch, to link the abnormal brain activity to OCD behavior in mice.

right cleaning solution

Question:

we bought several primate chairs for you  and since we move soon in a new facility with a chair washer we would like to know, out of which material exactly the chairs are to choose the right cleaning solution. I know that some are not that good for the chairs so I can ask our distributors what’s the best for the material.

I hope you can help me out with information.

Answer:

A neutral Ph is best. Or chlorine bleach.  Alcohol based solutions are very bad, as are high acidic or alkaline.
