     Crist Instrument Company, Inc. started as a service to researchers who had specific apparatus requirements but could not find the appropriate equipment to meet their exacting needs or were just not completely satisfied with the items that were available. Because of the unique problem solving ability of the founding members of Crist Instrument, scientists began to seek their service and advice. This design service provided solutions to research problems and proved to be very helpful over the years.

Demand for our advice as well as requests to design, modify and fabricate this type of research equipment continued to grow. In 1990, it was determined that to continue to be a part of the leading edge of medical research, the firm would have to expand. Crist Instrument Company, Inc. was born.

Through in depth discussions, Crist Instrument Company, Inc. has provided ideas for the development of new device and the modification of existing devices to enable researchers the world over to follow their desired line of research. The result is many types of “state of the art” apparatus and equipment that assist continuing medical research.

As a corporation, we feel that our primary mission is to provide products with excellent quality, to design and modify mechanical apparatus and suggest new uses for devices already available. We will also continue to add apparatus to our list of equipment that we have found to be valuable in the research field.
